Some gaming stores also have their own roleplay sessions or events where you can find connections. The internet is perfectly suited for finding players for various pen-&-paper systems. Nowadays, roleplayers network through social media and forums. Widely used platforms include reddit and Roll20, for example. The lfg stands for Looking for Group. This gives you access to a larger and international pool of fellow players. Many people have already heard something about pen & paper or Dungeons & Dragons and would like to try it. Even skeptics often enjoy roleplaying once they give it a try. So you should first ask around in your social circle and often you’ll end up with too many interested people. Then you can start your very own roleplay group and play with people you already enjoy being around.
